In Romania, Young Adults Get Personal Finance Savvy from YOUNG MONEY(R) Romania ORLANDO, Florida, January 14/PRNewswire/ -- - Stylish, Hip Personal Finance Magazine Launched This Month Romanian young adults will now find on newsstands a hip new magazine called YOUNG MONEY(R) Romania. Published monthly, this personal finance and lifestyles magazine is the sister publication to its popular U.S. counterpart, YOUNG MONEY, covering topics such as credit and debt, entrepreneurship, investing, money management, and other lifestyle subjects of interest to young adults. YOUNG MONEY Romania, published by Junior Achievement's Romanian chapter, has an initial 30,000 copy circulation available via mail subscriptions and on newsstands in Romania. It will include some of the same articles from the U.S. magazine, but the remainder of the 48-page publication is original content. Junior Achievement received the licensing rights from YOUNG MONEY's publisher InCharge(R) Education Foundation, Inc., a national non-profit organization specializing in personal finance education and research. "In the continually shrinking global village, the problems, concerns and challenges of young people are universal," according to Becky Stiehl, President of the InCharge Education Foundation. "We believe that students in Bucharest and Buffalo face similar challenges when it comes to money management and the use of credit." The expansion of InCharge Education Foundation to Romania is the first of several European initiatives the Foundation plans to initiate in the near future. "From the very beginning I was very enthusiastic in supporting this project," explains Stafania Popp, editor in chief and director of the Romanian chapter of Junior Achievement. "I expect YOUNG MONEY Romania to be very successful among Romanian young adults. "YOUNG MONEY Romania is a very good example of how a functional free market can teach an important lesson, a lesson which young Romanians really need. The free market economy is still a challenge for many people here in my country. The better the new generation will be in making their financial and personal decisions within the framework of a free market economy, the better and brighter Romania's future. I strongly believe that we will successfully contribute to this future." YOUNG MONEY Romania's premier issue features Andreea Rosca, the young Editor in chief from "Capital" -- Best Financial Business Romanian-Swiss Magazine, and author of the Romanian "Fortune List of 300 Richest People in Romania," as a model of young accomplishment. Andreea began her career eight years ago as a sales clerk, and has quickly grown to one of the most powerful women in Romania. Also featured in this publication are young entrepreneurs and managers Calin Fusu from Neogen, owner of Bestjobs, biggest e-job business in Romania; Cristi Topescu, manager of Residence Hotel; and Ionut Chermenschi, TV Kensky show moderator. An interactive website will complement the publication ( http://www.youngmoney.ro), with additional content, calculators, surveys and other interactive tools.
