'Dittydoodle Works' Going Nationwide Rogar Studios Brings Enhanced Production Values to Its Acclaimed Music-Based Series For Preschoolers NEW YORK, Jan. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Rogar Studios, an entertainment marketing and production company based on Long Island, has begun production on an enhanced version of its award-winning music-based, educational television series. "Dittydoodle Works" is expected to roll out on public television stations nationwide in 2005. "'Dittydoodle Works' is like vitamins for a child's imagination," says Cory Rosenberg, the creator and executive producer of the music-based show, set in a colorful and imaginative factory that produces fun. "The same way that vitamins nourish and enrich your body, we're looking to enrich children's imaginations, give them confidence, build their self-esteem, and to motivate them to reach for the sky." Introduced in 2000 as a series of shorts airing on the New York-based PBS station WLIW, "Dittydoodle Works" will now be produced as a series with an expanded creative team and a larger base of operations in Rogar's new state-of-the-art production facility on Long Island. The series promises to be even fresher, livelier and more entertaining than the original show that received a New York Emmy nomination and won that state's Broadcasters Award for Outstanding Achievement in Children's Programming. The Rogar team includes Emmy-winning executive producer Roy Hammond, the vice president of national productions for WLIW; Senior Creative Consultant Mark Saltzman who wrote scripts and songs for "Sesame Street;" Emmy-winning director Dean Gordon ("Bear in the Big Blue House," "The Book of Pooh"); lighting designer Alan Adelman who has worked with Bob Fosse, Susan Stroman, Twyla Tharp, etc.; Emmy-winning writer Ira Fritz ("Coach," "The King of Queens"); line producer Sandy Cohn, producer of commercials -- Nabisco, M&M Mars, American Airlines and the International Olympic Committee; musical arranger and producer Joseph Baker who has worked on Broadway and toured with Barry Manilow and Art Garfunkel. Rogar also plans to take "Dittydoodle Works" into other arenas including home entertainment, licensed products, and live performances. The company has its own in-house licensing and marketing department, which is headed by Glenn Orsher, a veteran of concert production, music videos and concert films, artist management, and merchandising programs for an extensive list of clients so diverse which include Harley Davidson, Planet Hollywood, the Prince's Trust, U2, Madonna and the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
