Clarion Corporation of America Announces First In-Dash DVD Player / Monitor Combination With Full iPod Integration Unique In-Car Audio Experience to Be Unveiled at 2005 Consumer Electronics Show GARDENA, Calif., Dec. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Clarion Corporation of America today announced that it will unveil at the 2005 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) a fully integrated iPod solution for its new VRX755VD in-dash DVD player / monitor combination. Clarion will also be showcasing a new CD receiver solution for Apple's popular music player at the show. Scheduled for a February 2005 consumer launch, the VRX755VD's touch-screen, seven-inch monitor will provide fans of Apple's popular music player with a unique iPod experience. With an easy-to-use onscreen control pad, users will also enjoy the VRX755VD's convenient onscreen display, which contains playlist, song and artist information, a clock and any engaged sound enhancement features. Scheduled for a mid-2005 consumer launch, Clarion will also unveil an iPod interface solution compatible with Clarion's CeNET-equipped source units (includes CD receivers and in-dash DVD players with monitors).
