Target Partners With Producer David Foster for Holiday Campaign Featured Artists Share Their Holiday Joy MINNEAPOLIS, Dec. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Target has partnered with Grammy- winning producer David Foster to bring a fresh sound to its holiday advertising campaign. Chart-topping artists in a variety of genres worked with Foster to arrange interpretations of the song "Joy to the World" by Hoyt Axton. Their renditions of the holiday classic are featured in Target's holiday television spots, which began airing October 27th. Participating artists include punk ensemble Simple Plan, country singer Gretchen Wilson, hip-hop artist Twista with the Brothers Conti, British pianist and vocalist Jamie Cullum and Latin sensation Alejandro Sanz. Foster helped Target choose genres that represent and appeal to its wide-ranging guest base. In addition to the television spots, the artists will also appear in print ads and on in-store signage.
