The winners will perform on the fifth annual NBC 10 Presents: Bring in the Holidays at Longwood Gardens, hour-long special on Friday, November 26th, at 7 PM. After reviewing a few hundred videotape submissions, NBC 10 auditioned 25 applicants at the Granite Run Mall on October 23rd. A distinguished panel of judges chose the winners that included two soloists, and a singing duo. Ashley Lauren Melnick is a talented fifteen-year-old soloist from Newark, Delaware, who has been singing, dancing, and playing the piano most of her life. Ashley is in the tenth grade at St. Marks High School in Wilmington, and she also attends the Wilmington School of Music and the LA Dance Company. Some of her accomplishments include singing the National Anthem at local college and professional sporting events, including NASCAR and Philadelphia 76ers games. In addition to singing and songwriting, Debbie is currently doing voiceover work for a cartoon series called "The Roach Approach." Philadelphia natives and sisters Courtnie and Joannie Williams are a brilliant singing duo who began performing at a very early age.
