ShoulderHill Entertainment Scores 6 Winners At The 37th Annual Telly Awards

NEW YORK, July 1, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- ShoulderHill Entertainment has won six Telly Awards at the 2016 Annual Telly Awards.

For over 35 years, The Telly Awards have been renowned for recognizing the best in film, television and video production. A prestigious panel of over 500 accomplished industry professionals evaluated over 13,000 entries to recognize distinction in creative work.

ShoulderHill received a Silver award, the highest award available, for best documentary for The Climate Reality Project's 24 Hours of Reality & Live Earth, A 2-hour Special Presentation: The World is Watching. A mix of solution-based documentaries and musical performances from the likes of Elton John, Neil Young, Walk The Moon, Florence and the Machine, Duran Duran and Bon Jovi, the show was seen in more than 70 countries. Also winning a Bronze award for Social Responsibility, the special presentation was directed by Steven Addair of ShoulderHill Entertainment who also served as Executive Producer along with ShoulderHill partners Peter M. Green and Danielle Addair.

ShoulderHill also garnered a Silver award for best Promo piece as well as four Bronze awards for Informational Programming, Cause Marketing and Social Responsibility for the live broadcast of 24 Hours of Reality and Live Earth: The World Is Watching.

Broadcast from the base of the Eiffel Tower in Paris France, Former US Vice President and Chairman of The Climate Reality Project Al Gore lead both the live global show and 2-hour documentary special to generate momentum for strong action on climate change from world leaders in the final days before the UN COP21 climate talks in Paris. The live show featured both live and pre-recorded segments from the United States, Australia, Brazil, India, Canada, China, the Philippines, and South Africa. Co-Executive Producer Jim Downs headed the live production and Co-Executive Producer Micah Fink lead the documentary film productions.
