Quinnipiac University honors Charlie Rose at annual Fred Friendly First Amendment Award Luncheon June 15

NEW YORK, June 15, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Quinnipiac University honored Charlie Rose, anchor/executive editor of the PBS programs "Charlie Rose" and "Charlie Rose: This Week," and co-host of "CBS This Morning," on Wednesday at its 23rd annual Fred Friendly First Amendment Award luncheon at the Metropolitan Club in New York City.

Rose's diversity and his experience are unparalleled. In addition his reporting for CBS and PBS, he does long-form pieces for "60 Minutes" and "60 Minutes Sports." He also has filled in as anchor of the "CBS Evening News" and as moderator of "Face the Nation."

Rose has perfected the art of the interview.
