WNET Launches "New York Parenting Minutes" Eight Parenting Videos in Eight Minutes

Each one-minute video is available in English, Spanish, Mandarin and Bengali.

NEW YORK, April 20, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- All you need is a minute to learn a parenting tip! WNET, home to public television's THIRTEEN, WLIW21 and NJTV, in collaboration with the New York City Early Learning Network (NYC ELN), has produced a series of eight digital one-minute video pieces titled New York Parenting Minutes, for wide digital and social media distribution to parents and caregivers across the city. Created to promote early childhood education and positive parenting skills, each of the New York Parenting Minutes provides important information about raising young children in both educational and healthy home.

Each video links to relevant NYC resources, and "Tips & Facts" to help parents implement the video's themes. The collection was developed with extensive input from NYC ELN partners. The NYC ELN includes approximately 30 representatives from early learning organizations across the city, including museums, libraries, city agencies and WNET, all of whom work collaboratively to support parents, caregivers, service providers, and advocates.

To serve New York's diverse audience of parents, caregivers and families more effectively, all eight videos are available in four languages: English, Spanish, Mandarin and Bengali. The topics covered are:
