AGOURA HILLS, Calif., March 10, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Up and coming rock bands will perform at the annual fundraiser for Agoura High School's International Baccalaureate Program. Founded in Geneva, Switzerland, the IB program prepares students for college with a rigorous curriculum. All monies raised go towards on-going specific and mandated IB teacher training.

Patrons will explore the sights, concert sounds, tastes and street performances of the Munch & Music Madness International Street Fair (4pm-9pm) and the ultimate mobile gourmet experience featuring more than a dozen of LA's top food trucks. Admission to the music festival is included with your concert ticket. Food truck tastes are sold separately with the proceeds benefiting Agoura High School's International Baccalaureate Program.

Jaq Mackenzie, a former "American Idol" contestant, will perform at the fest, as will Breaking 27, The Sposato Brothers Band, Suburban Decay, Flood Zone, Kayleigh Krause, Jenna Siteman, Paper, The Local Rebellion and other local musicians and street performers. The Local Rebellion performance is on the heels of their upcoming Vans Warped Tour.

In addition to a wide spectrum of music and dance, the festival will feature body artists, crafts and other activities. Munch & Music Madness 2016 boasts a full menu of fun, a gourmet grub fest with a variety of more than a dozen popular food trucks selling their specialties. Food trucks include Cousins Maine Lobster, India Jones, and the Middle Feast, a truly international spectrum.

Due to its popularity, Munch and Music Madness has evolved over the years, taking on an international street faire theme that ties in with the IB Program's belief in the importance of promoting internationalism. Last year was the biggest Munch & Music Madness turnout ever, with thousands of people in the local community and beyond in attendance.

The event takes place Saturday, March 12, from 4-9 p.m. at Agoura High School (28545 Driver Ave., Agoura Hills, a suburb of Los Angeles). Admission is $5 online in advance or $7 at the gate (kids 4 & under are free). Food truck tastes are sold separately.

For a complete listing of participating performers, food trucks, ticket information, or for more information on the IB program, visit www.agouramunchmadness.com. Discount tickets can be purchased online until Friday, March 11 and can be picked up at Will Call at the festival. Regularly priced tickets will be available at the gate.
