New Life of the Law episode "Harris County, USA" reports voter ID laws impact minority access to the polls

As nation heads into key primaries - report finds minority turnout lower in states with strict voter ID laws

HOUSTON, Feb. 24, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Legislators in more than half the states have passed Voter ID laws. Life of the Law, a national podcast produced by a team of investigative reporters and scholars finds these laws disproportionately impact minority voters. Texas Rep Jim Murphy says the state's voter ID law was passed to ensure, "one vote counts as much as the next."
