Two Films Crowned Winners at Screening; Festival to Expand in 2016

Bryant Lambert won the "Best Short Film" category, and Dom Tucci won "Best Action Cam." Matt Sanders is the runner-up for Short Film, and Ben Cissell for Action Cam.

Judges were inundated with entries for OPTIMA's first-ever Ultimate Film Festival, which challenged enthusiasts across the nation to submit their most exciting and powerful performance automotive content. Host David Freiburger of The Enthusiast Network's Roadkill announced the winners in front of a crowd of hundreds at the House of Blues at Mandalay Bay. Attendees voted in real-time for their favorites among the 17 finalists; all the final films are now available on the OPTIMA Batteries YouTube channel.

Next year, three qualifying Film Festival events will be hosted across the country, with a finale event again taking place during the SEMA Show. The schedule and call for entries will be announced early next year on OPTIMAFilmFest.com.
