Three Day Festival -- Featuring Performances By Rae Sremmurd, Yo Gotti, Dej Loaf, K Camp, And More -- To Be Held December 18th - 20th In Platinum-Selling Hip-Hop Duo's Hometown Of Tupelo, MS

SANTA MONICA, Calif., Nov. 10, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Ear Drummer Records/Interscope Records artists Rae Sremmurd (brothers Slim Jxmmi and Swae Lee) have announced the launch of the first-annual SremmFest -- a three-day festival that will be held in the duo's hometown of Tupelo, Mississippi, from December 18(th) through the 20(th). The festival aims to celebrate Rae Sremmurd's extraordinary success this year, and also serves as a way for the guys to thank the community for their support by giving them a weekend to remember forever - "We're trying to bring good vibes back to our hometown and to bring positivity through the music that's brought us from Tupelo, Mississippi, to all across the world," said Slim Jxmmi.

The weekend festivities kick off with a celebrity basketball game on Friday, followed by the headline concert event on Saturday at the Bankcorp South Arena. Rae Sremmurd will perform alongside artists Yo Gotti, DeJ Loaf, K Camp, and more, including a special DJ set from Mike WiLL Made-It. That night the duo will also receive the keys to the city from Tupelo mayor Jason Shelton, an honor that Swae Lee compared to "winning a championship ring" and a "life changing moment for us." A community BBQ, featuring a toy and food drive, will take place on Sunday.

SremmFest is a culmination of a breakout year for Rae Sremmurd. The duo have racked up 500 million views on VEVO/YouTube and scored two platinum-selling singles, the Mike WiLL Made-It-produced "No Flex Zone" and "No Type," which is co-produced by Swae Lee. Both tracks appear on the duo's debut album SremmLife, which debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart in January. Also this year, Rae Sremmurd was nominated for a Billboard Music Award for Top Rap Artist and for three BET Awards, taking home the award for Best Group.
