TORONTO, Nov. 18, 2015 /CNW/ - As the countdown to the biggest party in Canada begins, CTV's THE SOCIAL co-hosts Melissa Grelo (@melissagrelo), Cynthia Loyst (@cynthialoyst), Lainey Lui (@LaineyGossip), and Traci Melchor (@stayfabulous) get ready to join the CFL and TSN in Winnipeg as they take centre stage on Investors Group Field to introduce multi-platinum rockers Fall Out Boy during the Nissan Titan Halftime Show. As part of the country's can't-miss annual sporting spectacle, the co-hosts bring their trademark charm, candour, and glamour to the 103(rd) GREY CUP Presented by Shaw, airing live Sunday, November 29 on TSN and RDS.

Grey Cup fever hits THE SOCIAL beginning Tuesday, Nov. 24 on CTV when Melissa and Traci face-off against CFL ON TSN's Milt Stegall and the Toronto Argonauts' Chad Owens in a trivia challenge with a twist - as the ladies test their football knowledge, Milt and Chad test their pop culture IQ. Then on Friday, Nov. 27, Traci and CFL ON TSN's Kate McKenna join THE SOCIAL from Investors Group Field in Winnipeg to set the stage for the weekend's Grey Cup festivities.

"We are so excited to have the amazing cast of THE SOCIAL be involved with Grey Cup Week in Winnipeg, especially as hosts of the Nissan Titan Halftime Show," said Jeffrey L. Orridge, CFL Commissioner. "The energy and passion that Melissa, Cynthia, Lainey, and Traci have will certainly be an added spark to what is already known as the biggest party in Canada."

As previously announced by TSN, the halftime show will be headlined by Fall Out Boy which features Patrick Stump (vocals/guitar), Pete Wentz (bass), Joe Trohman (guitar), and Andy Hurley (drums). The band released their sixth studio album, American Beauty/American Psycho, in January 2015 to instant acclaim. The album debuted at #1 on the Billboard Canadian Albums Chart, and features lead single "Centuries," which has been certified four times platinum by the RIAA.

What are THE SOCIAL co-hosts most looking forward to at the 103(rd) GREY CUP Presented by Shaw? They share their thoughts:

"Winnipeg: the birthplace of Randy Bachman, Burton Cummings, Anna Paquin, and Terry Fox. Good things come from, and happen in, the 'Peg which is why I am so excited to see the city transform into a football mecca during the 103(rd) GREY CUP. This is a city with fierce passion for Canadian football that runs very deep in its history. I can't wait to experience Winnipeg hospitality and see the city come alive with football fever!" - Melissa Grelo

"I'm most excited to see the actual Grey Cup. That was a device from the Fifty Shades trilogy, right?" - Cynthia Loyst

"This is my first Grey Cup and I've waited long enough. Winnipeg? Show me how it's done!" -Lainey Lui

"I'm over the moon to be going to the 'Peg for the biggest event in Canadian sports. Fierce entertainment, fabulous football players, and a fantastic game make for one hell of an assignment!" - Traci Melchor

THE SOCIAL airs live weekdays at 1 p.m. (2 p.m. AT) on CTV. Episodes also air at 2 p.m. ET on CTV Two, 6 p.m. ET on M3, and at 9 a.m. ET on E! the day following their broadcast premieres.
