Award-Winning Business News Anchor Betty Liu Launches Weekly Podcast, "Radiate"
New Program Features Success Stories from Business Leaders and Notable Personalities including Andrea Jung, Sallie Krawcheck, Charlie Rose, Steve Schwarzman and many others
NEW YORK, Nov. 3, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Betty Liu, award-winning business journalist and current Anchor and Editor-at-Large for Bloomberg Television, takes her probing interview skills to the podcast world with a new, weekly show - "Radiate" - available on iTunes today. While Ms. Liu is known for grilling CEOs, entrepreneurs and billionaire investors on their businesses, on "Radiate" she is digging even deeper, talking about their careers and what's made them successful, including mistakes, struggles, fears and, most importantly, how they got over them.
Radiate's debut season features interviews with business leaders and notable personalities including: Andrea Jung, current President and CEO of Grameen America and former CEO of Avon; Charlie Rose, the creator and host of "Charlie Rose", cohost of CBS This Morning and correspondent for 60 Minutes; Steve Schwarzman, chairman and CEO of The Blackstone Group; Sallie Krawcheck, CEO of the top women's professional network Ellevate and former Wall Street executive; and others.
"I've always been fascinated by what makes a person successful and why we don't talk enough about the real things that are behind that," Liu says. "I'm excited Radiate provides that unique platform for Masters of the Universe to talk candidly about their lives so that others can learn. We're all looking for that extra thing that will help us and this will provide that for listeners."
Available on iTunes, SoundCloud, Stitcher, TuneIn, and Google, Radiate will air every Tuesday. In one episode, Krawcheck talks about what it was like to be harassed on Wall Street. In another, Rose confesses his one regret in life. And Schwarzman reminisces about the day Harvard rejected him and what he did about it.
