New FanMatch® App Plays Matchmaker at Music Festivals this Summer

CHICAGO, July 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- It's been called "Tinder for music fans." FanMatch is a new mobile app that gives people the ability to browse, chat and meet up with people attending the same major music festivals this summer and fall.

With more than 48 million singles attending live music events annually, that's a lot of hooking up.

The app allows users to select from a list of festivals they are attending when setting their personal profile, along with relationship interests that span friendship, dating and hook-ups. Similar to Tinder, it features a "like" function that allows users to match based on mutual relationship interests and attraction.

Chatting with matches is free. FanMatch users get a limited number of free daily chats with people they haven't previously matched with. Users can also unlock VIP features like unlimited chatting for $3.99 (7 days), $9.99 (1 month) and $19.99 (3 months.)

According to co-founder Ellona Ferson, FanMatch is fulfilling an unmet need among festival-goers everywhere.

"Until now meeting new people at concerts has pretty much been left to chance in the beer line," said Ferson. "Dating apps like Tinder aren't wired to show you who else is attending specific events, or to make plans in advance. FanMatch is designed to do exactly that."
