PLANO, Texas, July 2, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- To celebrate the launch of its newest flavor, limited-edition Doritos Jacked 3D Bacon Cheddar Ranch snacks, the Doritos brand is rolling out exclusive, 3D video content at www.Jacked3D.com, as part of the Doritos brand's first, mobile-only campaign. This summer the brand is taking the video experience on your smartphone to epic new levels, turning the unique, 3D snacks into a way to unlock totally unique 3D videos. Those who purchase a bag of the new, limited-edition flavor or Doritos Jacked 3D Jalapeno Pepper Jack will have exclusive access to videos from some of today's hottest content producers on their smartphones anytime, anywhere. The Doritos brand is one of the flagship brands from PepsiCo's Frito-Lay division.

To access the videos, consumers simply log on to www.Jacked3D.com via their mobile device, scan a Doritos Jacked 3D snack and pop on a pair of the Jacked 3D glasses, which are available with purchase at select retail locations across the country, or by contacting Frito-Lay consumer affairs for a free pair. The Doritos brand has partnered with some of the biggest names in online video, including YouTube star Freddy Wong, Vine celebrity Zach King and BMX master Tim Knoll, to create outrageous, exclusive videos in 3D. The website will also offer a 3D video-clip preview from the indie band PPL MVR.All 3D videos will also be available in the standard 2D format.

To make the experience even more legendary, the Doritos brand is offering fans the chance to get a sneak-peek at the latest movie from a modern cult terror franchise, Syfy's "Sharknado." Beginning July 6, visitors will gain access to preview a trailer of Syfy's "Sharknado 3" containing exclusive content. "Sharknado 3" will premiere on Syfy July 22.

New Doritos Jacked 3D Bacon Cheddar Ranch will be available from June 28 through September 18, 2015.The Doritos Jacked 3D line of snacks, which also includes Doritos Jacked 3D Jalapeno Pepper Jack, is available at retail stores nationwide, for a suggested retail price of $4.29 for 11.5oz bag and $1.49 for 3.125oz bag.
