Sinclair Names Laura Wolf General Manager In Amarillo, TX

AMARILLO, Texas, June 26, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: SBGI) announced that Laura Wolf has been named General Manager of KVII-TV (ABC) and its simulcast station, KVIH-TV (ABC), in Amarillo, Texas. The announcement was made by Steve Pruett, Co-Chief Operating Officer of Sinclair's television group.

In making the announcement, Mr. Pruett said, "With over 20 years of experience in broadcast sales and management, we are excited to have Laura leading the team in Amarillo. In her previous positions, Laura was a team leader empowering her staff to work towards increasing ratings and revenues while making an impact on the community."

Ms. Wolf most recently served as General Manager of Sinclair's KHQA-TV (CBS/ABC (D2)) in Quincy, IL/Hannibal, MO/Keokuk, IA since 2014. From 2010 to 2014, she was the Market Manager at KVEO-TV (NBC) in Brownsville/McAllen, TX. Beginning in 2000, she joined KPEJ-TV (FOX) in Odessa/Midland, TX as the General Sales Manager and was later promoted to General Manager. In 1994, she started as an Account Executive at KMID-TV (ABC) in Odessa/Midland, TX and was promoted to General Sales Manager in 1999. Ms. Wolf attended Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, TX and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Pasadena, CA.
