Africa's newest and most dynamic celebration of media, the Mohamed Amin Africa Media
Awards (MAAMAs), is ready for action as the countdown moves down to the last two weeks.
From over 200 submissions from 17 countries our award-winning judges have chosen the 18
trying for top honors.



AFRICA24 MEDIA, partnering with MoSound Events, is ready to disclose the top two
finalists in nine categories for the May 20-22nd event, to be held right here in Nairobi.
They include a triple nominee in Roger Gichuhi of Kenya and nominees from Sudan to Ghana.

YouTube page (MAAMA Awards). Vote for the one that interests, entertains, instructs or
just moves you the most. Vote by indicating a "LIKE" for the video. The one with the most
"LIKES" wins the PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARD.



The venues are primed for the inaugural event. Workshops and symposiums are to be held

The Gala Awards Dinner on the night of May 21st will be held at the famous Carnivore
