NASHVILLE, May 13, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- GRAMMY-Award winning artists Kings of Leon, world-renowned chef Jonathan Waxman, Vector Management'sKen Levitan and Andy Mendelsohn, and C3 Presents (whose festival production credentials include Austin City Limits Music Festival, Lollapalooza, and Austin Food + Wine Festival), are pleased to announce the third annual Music City Food + Wine Festival, September 19-20, 2015. On Saturday, September 19, and Sunday, September 20, the Festival will bring together superstars of Nashville's local culinary scene with acclaimed national and regional chefs, wine and spirits experts. Located in the heart of downtown Nashville, the Festival will feature cooking demonstrations and panel discussions; intimate Tasting Sessions; Grand Taste tents offering food, wine and cocktail samples from local and regional artisans; and Harvest Night, Saturday night's signature event showcasing dishes from world-renowned chefs with live musical performances curated by Kings of Leon.

Grand Taste:
Featuring different chefs and restaurants on Saturday, September 19, and Sunday, September 20, the Grand Taste tents at The Green atRiverfront Park will give attendees the opportunity to meet some of the city's top chefs, while sampling dishes from a diverse line-up of restaurants.

Throughout the weekend at The Green at Riverfront Park, attendees will have the opportunity to get up close and personal as chefs lead interactive and engaging cooking demonstrations, including: Chris Bianco, Graham Elliot, Carla Hall, Linton Hopkins, Mike Lata, Tim Love, Marcus Samuelsson, Aaron Sanchez, Michael Schwartz, Levon Wallace, Jonathan Waxman, and Andrew Zimmern. The cooking demonstration topics will be released in June.

Panel Discussions & Tasting Sessions:
Listen in as the festival's chefs, wine and spirits experts have dynamic conversations during a series of intimate and interactive panel discussions and tasting sessions. Panelists and moderators will be announced in the summer.

Music City Food + Wine Festival ticket options include a Saturday Day Pass, Sunday Day Pass, Harvest Night Pass or All-In Pass; all attendees must be 21 years of age or older.

The Saturday Day Pass ($150 per person) includes single-day access to Saturday, September 19 festival programming at The Green at Riverfront Park, including cooking demonstrations, wine, beer & spirits tastings, intimate panel discussions, book signings and Saturday's Grand Taste tents.
