Like many bands today, Morgan's Road is a collaborative effort between artists who wear varied professional hats to keep things going. The members are based in Charleston and Florence, South Carolina, Atlanta, GA while their promoter/manager is based in San Francisco, CA. The geographical distance is just another detail thrown into the mix, but their shared passion for good music, congeniality, and all-hands-on-deck mentality keeps the machine running at a steady clip.

Given this, the band has been steadily building momentum since debut album release in January of this year. This week, Morgan's Road secured a spot on the June 5-7th, Carolina Country Music Festival line-up with the aid of thousands of staunch fans taking the time to vote for them in a very competitive social media contest.

They have also recently been nominated for "Rock Band of the Year" at both the Carolina Music Awards and the South Carolina Music Awards respectively.

Later in June, the band will be opening for Devon Allman at the Thoroughbred Music & Art Festival in Aiken, SC; no small achievement for a band with just one album under their collective belt.
