"DeLinda's experience as a marketer and seasoned public media executive makes her perfect for the role," said Martin. "Corporate sponsorships are KQED's second-highest source of revenue after individual donations, so DeLinda's ability to creatively help underwriters connect with KQED's brand across conventional and digital platforms will contribute greatly to the expansion of our mission-driven programming."

"With strong revenue growth for the past several years and new opportunities related to KQED's expanded video and audio offerings, I'm thrilled to be taking leadership of corporate support at such an exciting time," said Mrowka. "I'm looking forward to reimagining underwriting, experimenting and finding innovative new ways to help sponsors achieve their objectives."

Since 2013, Mrowka has been the executive director of marketing and communications at KQED, overseeing the marketing, corporate communications, community relations, design and public affairs teams. Before joining KQED she was executive director of the Public Awareness Initiative for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB), senior director of marketing and media relations at WETA, and the director of business affairs for Oliver Productions. She has secured and managed broadcast and digital sponsorships from companies such as GE, ADM and Audible.
