Alameda County Fair Announces Exciting "Big O Tires Concert Series" Lineup for 2015

"Early-entry Wristbands" return for seating priority at shows

PLEASANTON, Calif., May 15, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Top names including The Beach Boys, Brian McKnight, Kansas and Tanya Tucker will Rock the Fair this summer as part of the popular Big O Tires Concert Series at Alameda County Fair.

Fans of Funk, R&B and Reggae may be tempted to get a season pass to see the long list of favorite acts that includes War, Tower of Power, Con Funk Shun, Tierra, Morris Day & The Time and The Original Wailers (of Bob Marley fame).

And Classic Rock & Pop fans won't want to miss Foghat and Berlin featuring Terri Nunn (remember "Take My Breath Away" from the movie Top Gun?!) or tributes to the Eagles and Steely Dan by The Boys of Summer and Steelin' Dan.

Top country hit-maker, Rodney Atkins, and Contemporary Christian rock band, Kutless, round out the nightly lineup, and the popular Blues Festival returns on the 4(th) of July from 1-9pm.

Big O Tires Concert Series shows run nightly at 8pm at the Amphitheater and are free with admission. Overflow seating provided at the Concert Lawn with live-feed Jumbotron screen. A special fireworks show and video presentation celebrating Hometown Heroes will follow the concerts nightly at 9:30pm.

The Fair will once again distribute early entry wristbands to the first 400 in line daily starting at 2-3pm for the concert each night.
