An ACSIL survey (www.acsil.org) of the industry reveals that leading players in this sector have experienced over 20 percent growth in revenue over the past year, prompting a slew of new organizations to enter this half billion dollar market.
ACSIL FOOTAGE EXPO 2015 will host an industry that is global in scale, consolidating in one space the rich audio-visual record of our most celebrated full-motion treasures: from the super HD and 8K video triumphs of today, to the earliest films of the human story, dating back to 1895.
"This is an opportunity for the media community to connect with senior management executives from the leading footage sources," said Clara Fon-Sing, co-President of ACSIL and VP & General Manager of NBC News Archives Sales and Strategy. "Our business models are rapidly changing, and we're looking forward to working with the media and production executives to build out new distribution and pricing models."
Also on the agenda is a discussion of the ACSIL GLOBAL SURVEY 2015, which shows a 40% growth in the footage business since 2011 and very aggressive annual growth among the ten leading footage companies. New customers empowered by digital technologies are pushing demand for stock and archival imagery, including customers in corporate non-broadcast and internet video.
"The new video mash-up culture is finding a rich source of creative inspiration in the deep motion picture collections at stock and archival footage sources," remarked Matthew White, Executive Director of ACSIL, on announcing the ACSIL FOOTAGE EXPO 2015. "The Expo provides an incomparable forum to experience the immensity of the stock and archival footage world, a world previously known only to the world's Television and Film Producers."
Join top media executives, film and movie producers, educational administrators, digital publishers, corporate and advertising agencies, as well as others convening at ACSIL FOOTAGE EXPO 2015 to explore new ways to find resources and better communicate with video.
The EXPO space is small and intimate; register now to reserve your space. Access to the Exhibit hall is free for professional content creators who work with video. Session passes are available for $50. For registration details visit:
