AdJam: Battle of the Agency Bands to hit LA Live's Club Nokia on Sept 18th

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 12, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- thinkLA will be holding their legendary AdJam: Battle of the Agency Bands on September 18th at LA Live's Club Nokia. Presented by Vevo, this year's concert will be a tribute to the music of the 90's. A projected 1200 guests will enjoy the most musically talented professionals from the LA advertising and marketing community as they bring down the house. Each band has a 12-minute set to win over the crowd and rock out.

AdJam, which has been going strong for over a decade, is one of the largest and most unique social events in the nation, celebrating the musical talents and creativity of agencies and individuals. The event outgrew its original home at the House of Blues in 2012 and now takes place at LA Live's Club Nokia.

Receiving video submissions from over 15 advertising agencies in Southern California, a panel of influential advertising and music professionals from Los Angeles reviewed each one. The top nine go on to perform at AdJam and will be judged by a separate panel of music experts.

AdJam is presented by Vevo and also sponsored by TuneIn, Quantcast, Maxpoint, Rocket Fuel, Curse, Factual, Sabio Mobile, and Twitch. A portion of the event proceeds will go to Ad Relief of Greater Los Angeles.

Agencies scheduled to perform:

Acento - Don Ramones
Akins Parker - Tangible Feedback
Garage Team Mazda - The Garage Band
Greenlight - Green Hot Chili Peppers
INNOCEAN (Returning champs) - HB Riots
Phelps - Ruckus
Saatchi - The User Experience
