R&B Icon Charlie Wilson to Headline Wind Creek Wetumpka Entertainment Center Grand Opening

WETUMPKA, Ala., Sept. 16, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Wind Creek Casino & Hotel Wetumpka (WCW) is slated to host Charlie Wilson for the inaugural concert in the newly completed Wind Creek Wetumpka Entertainment Center. A seven-time Grammy nominee, Charlie Wilson has been critically-acclaimed around the world for his live performance with sold-out shows in the United States, France and the UK. His numerous awards and accolades include a BET Lifetime Achievement Award in 2013 which will long be remembered as one of the finest tributes ever paid to a legend. The Wind Creek Wetumpka Entertainment Center seats approximately 1,200 and is located adjacent to the WCW casino at 100 River Oaks Drive, Wetumpka. The new structure is approximately 23,000 square feet and houses pre-function and concession areas, a green room and kitchen.
