Los Cabos partners with top-rated Apple App, Cinamatic, to promote Los Cabos International Film Festival November 12 - 16

LOS CABOS, Mexico, Sept. 5, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The Los Cabos Tourism Board announced joint efforts with Cinamatic, the Apple iPhone application developed by leading technology innovator, Hipstamatic LLC, that enables users to create beautiful short films in seconds. The resulting campaign, #Ticket2Cabo, was created to launch Los Cabos International Film Festival taking place November 12 - 16, 2014.

As part of the campaign, the first for Cinamatic since the app's debut in May, consumers in the US & Canada will have the opportunity to win a trip for two to Los Cabos during the festival including VIP passes, a 5-day / 4-night stay at Grand Solmar Land's End Resort & Spa, and round-trip airfare. To enter, consumers should download the Cinamatic application, which can be found free of charge in the Apple App Store, and shoot a 15-second or less video relating to the theme "travel". Once a filter is selected and the video is processed users can enter the contest via Instagram by clicking on the "contest trophy" and following the prompts. All entries must include the hashtag #Ticket2Cabo as well as the @cinamaticapp and @LosCabosTourism handles on instagram. Participants are encouraged to ask friends & followers to "LIKE" their submission, as the winner will be selected based on the most votes.

Contest submissions are being accepted through September 29 with voting continuing through October 5. The top 5 videos with the most "likes" will be considered finalists and voted on by Tourism Board representative. Winner will be announced on October 6 via the Los Cabos Tourism Board Instagram page.
