Kaleidescape Appoints Buzz Goddard as New VP of Sales

Industry veteran will strengthen Kaleidescape's support of the custom electronics channel

SUNNYVALE, Calif., Aug. 29, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Kaleidescape, Inc., the market leader in home movie servers, today announced the appointment of custom electronics industry veteran Buzz Goddard to Vice President of Sales. With 25 years of experience with the CEDIA channel, he brings significant industry expertise to Kaleidescape.

Prior to joining Kaleidescape, Goddard was VP of Sales at NetStreams, a company that pioneered networked audio, video, and control systems for the CEDIA channel. Earlier in his career, Goddard held sales executive leadership roles at Kloss Video and Lexicon. At Kloss Video, he introduced large-screen, two-piece projection television systems into the residential market. At Lexicon, he led the company into the residential market and was responsible for launching digital surround processing, Dolby Digital, THX and DTS audio processors. Following Lexicon's acquisition by Harman International, he also managed sales and marketing for the Citation and Audioaccess brands, driving sales for all three brands simultaneously. Buzz also served as a founding board member of CEDIA.
