SmartScore NoteReader Music-reading App Now On iTunes & Google Play

OJAI, Calif., July 15, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Musitek Corporation is pleased to announce that the world's first music-reading app, SmartScore NoteReader, is now available for iOS devices from Apple's iTunes Store and for Android devices at Google Play.

SmartScore NoteReader is a smartphone / mobile derivative of SmartScore X2: Musitek's popular music-scanning software for Windows and Macintosh. The basic NoteReader app is free and allows users to capture multiple pages of a musical score and play the music back through their device. The In-app upgrade (NoteReader Premier - $9.99) allows music files to be sent to any e-mail address, to Dropbox and Google Drive. Processed music can be sent to the owner or to friends and colleagues as SmartScore (.enf), MIDI (.mid) or MusicXML (.xml) files. SmartScore .enf files will load into Musitek's free SmartScore Player, appear as standard music notation and play back in high-fidelity. A Karaoke feature displays moving lyrics with familiar bouncing ball while playing back. Anyone can download and install the SmartScore Player from Musitek's website here.
