Texas Hill Country resort kicks off its second annual Beer by the Bay Music Festival with three days of live music, all-you-can-eat food and Texas beer

HORSESHOE BAY, Texas, July 3, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Music is in the air at Horseshoe Bay Resort! On Friday, August 1(st), the AAA-four diamond resort will kick off its three-day Beer by the Bay Music Festival. Performances range from top Texas country artists (Jack Ingram, Bri Bagwell, Curtis Grimes) - to reggae (The Effinays) - to soul and gospel (Matchmaker Band and The Stapletones); added to all-you-can-eat culinary delights and award-winning Texas microbreweries make this an event you can't miss.

Texas Country artist Curtis Grimes (former finalist on NBC's hit show The Voice) will close Friday night's lineup with early performances by TJ Broscoff (current single "Falling Down" in Top 10 on Texas Country Music Charts), Pauline Reese, and The Matchmaker Band (soul-funk band from Austin).

On Saturday, popular Texas Country artist Jack Ingram will headline with performances by BlackTop Gypsy, Charla Corn, Bri Bagwell and The Effinays performance leading up to Ingram's concert.

Both current and former Texas Country artists from the television reality show Troubadour Texas, will be performing at the Festival (BlackTop Gypsy, Broscoff and Grimes).

Sunday's Gospel Brunch is only open to overnight resort festival guests and resort Club members. The Stapletones, a Gospel mainstay in Austin for many years, will perform on Sunday starting at 9:30 a.m.

Along with great bands, the music festival will feature microbrew offerings from around the Hill Country including selections from Real Ale Brewery, South Austin Brewing Company, Twisted X and DoubleHorn Brewery. In addition, the resort's culinary team is featuring an all-you-can-eat menu featuring sliders and bratwurst that is included with each paid admission.

Beer tastings and beers by the pint will be available for purchase each night. Commemorative Beer by the Bay mugs will be available for purchase. Festival parking will be available at Summit Rock Golf Course with shuttles dropping guests off at the Festival entrance at the Resort. Gates will open each night at 5:00 p.m. with the first band scheduled to start shortly after 5 p.m. Parking lots will open at 4:30 p.m. on Friday and 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 1st and Sunday August 2nd.
