KHHM Hot 103.5 FM Powers to #1 Station in the Market on New Programming

SACRAMENTO, Calif., July 31, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Entravision Communications Corporation (NYSE: EVC), a diversified Spanish-language media company, today announced that its radio stations in the Sacramento, California market have soared to the number one rankings in both English and Spanish languages. English-language KHHM Hot 103.5FM was the market leader in Sacramento for June among Adults 18-34 with an 8.6 share, according to Nielsen Audio. Entravision's KXSE Jose 104.3FM was the Spanish radio market leader for the month of June, generating a 7.9 share among Latino Adults 18-34. The station has also been the leader among Latino Adults 25-54 since July 2011 for 36 consecutive months. Entravision's two other stations in Sacramento, KNTY The Wolf 101.9FM and KRCX La Tricolor 99.9FM, continue to deliver strong performances, creating a powerful radio platform and establishing the Entravision brand as a leading provider of diverse, engaging radio content in the market.

In addition to being ranked first overall in the market, Hot 103.5FM is a top 3 station across key time periods among Adults 18-34. In Morning Drive Time (Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.), Hot 103.5FM's new program The Morning Show with Sugar Bear, Karli and Spin Dizzy, launched in March of this year, ranked second with an 8.9 share among Adults 18-34, with a market share that has increased 112% over May.

Entravision's other English-language station in Sacramento, The Wolf 101.9FM, was also a top performer in June. In Morning Drive Time, the station benefited from the successful launch of Nick and Kristen in the Morning on June 2, 2014. In its first month on the air, the program rose to a first-place ranking among Adults 18-34 with a 9.4 share, up 34% month-to-month. Additionally, Nick and Kristen in the Morning leads the Country music genre in Morning Drive among Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54. The Wolf 101.9FM is also Sacramento's leading Country music station among Adults 25-54 in Morning Drive, Mid Days (Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.), Evenings (Monday through Friday from 7:00 p.m. to midnight), Prime Time (Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.) and Full Week (Monday through Sunday from 6:00 a.m. to midnight).

Entravision's Spanish-language stations flourish in Sacramento, offering audiences some of the most popular shows in the region. Entravision's Jose 104.3FM and La Tricolor 99.9FM are the two leading Spanish-language stations among Latino Adults 18-34 and 18-49 for the full week. Among Latino Adults 18-34, Jose's 7.9 share is up 30% over May and La Tricolor's 6.9 share is up 13%.

On La Tricolor 99.9FM, El Show de Erazno y La Chokolata is the runaway Spanish-language leader in Afternoon Drive Time (Monday through Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.). A top performer in several Entravision markets including Los Angeles, Phoenix and Denver, the program has an impressive 13.6 share among Latino Adults 18-34, leading the second ranked Spanish station by more than five points.

In Morning Drive Time, Jose 104.3FM's El Genio Lucas remains the most-listened to show among Latinos 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54. El Genio Lucas's 11.3 share among Latinos 18-34 is up 15% month-to-month, its 14.7 share among Latinos 18-49 is up 21% and its 16.3 share among Latinos 25-54 is up 8%.
