During this nature quest, the outdoor enthusiast coaches the contestants, teaching them everything he knows in just a few weeks in order to give them the adrenaline rush of a lifetime. The prizewinner will have the opportunity to travel the world, all expenses paid.

"At Vme TV we loved the concept of 'Desafio Vertical' because the essence of the show is to push people to their limits and reach new heights. In this case, literally and figuratively," said Ralph Parkman, Vme TV's vice-president of marketing. "We felt it was a different approach to our programming mission, which is to encourage our viewers to explore the world and defy obstacles."

Considered to be one of the most beautiful and captivating geographical locations in the planet, Angel Falls reaches 980 meters in height, making it the highest waterfall in the world. This feat of nature, located in Canaima National Park in Gran Sabana, Venezuela, is a United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) World Heritage site, and in 2010 competed to be one of the Seven Wonders of Nature.
