NEW YORK, June 23, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- After years of captivating children from around the globe, the number one children's entertainment group, The Wiggles, are bringing their "colorful song-and-dance show" (Toronto Star) back to North American audiences with the "Ready, Steady, Wiggle" tour. This Fall, the "forever young" (Detroit Free Press) quartet will delight families across the country in support of their new CD and DVD, Apples and Bananas (available August 26th) as well as a new season of their hit television show airing on Treehouse in Canada. Founding member Anthony Field (Blue Wiggle) along with Emma Watkins (Yellow Wiggle), Simon Pryce (Red Wiggle) and Lachlan Gillespie (Purple Wiggle) will be joined on stage by the lovable Dorothy the Dinosaur, Captain Feathersword, Wags the Dog and Henry the Octopus for a wiggly good time!

The Wiggles will perform in 34 cities across North America, including Toronto where they have the honor of headlining the Treehouse "Big Day Out" Festival on September 13(th) and 14(th). This inaugural two-day festival is an exciting concert experience for kids and families taking place at the Molson Canadian Amphitheatre on Toronto's waterfront. The event, hosted by Canada's #1 preschool channel, Treehouse, will feature two shows each day - from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM and from 2:30 PM. to 5:00 PM. Along with The Wiggles, Max & Ruby will take part in the stage shows, with more of your favorite Treehouse characters to be announced later this summer. Additionally, the festival will host fun all-day activities including face painting, toy and craft play areas, character meet and greets and more.
