Sony's daytime talk shows, The Dr. Oz Show and The Queen Latifah Show earned a total of three awards. Sony's game show Wheel of Fortune and its quiz show Jeopardy! each won Daytime Emmy honors.

Sony received multiple Daytime Emmy wins for their perennial favorite soap operas - The Young and the Restless and Days of our Lives, earning a total of twelve wins for the two shows. With its nine wins, The Young and the Restless earned the most Emmys in any year in its history - including the awards for Outstanding Drama Series and Oustanding Drama Series Writing Team.
