Newest Version of Anything After App Brings Faster, Better, More Feature-rich Experience to Movie Lovers
LOS ANGELES, June 25, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The developers of the fun and popular Anything After (http://www.anythingafter.com/) app have released an update that's certain to improve the user experience and promote more engagement from the movie-going community. The app has already earned rave reviews from users who no longer have to sit through the credits of feature films, wondering if there's something more at the end. Anything After is available from iTunes, the Google Play store and Amazon Apps.
Anything After was designed specifically for avid moviegoers who don't want to miss anything, but who still value their time. Instead of waiting through the seemingly endless credits of today's films, the app lets users quickly find out if there's a blooper reel or other after-credits scene. Anything After's bonus scene information is contributed by other moviegoers, who vote on whether it's worth the wait to sit through the credits. The votes and comments section hides spoilers by default, but users can toggle the page to show more detailed information about what exactly they're waiting for.

To discourage spam voting, which has been the bane of some movie rating and information portals, Anything After requires Facebook authentication of all voters with more voting options coming soon, like via Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Google, YouTube and other social networks. This means one user gets only one vote per title.
Having originally launched in January 2013, Anything After version 1.1 was released the following April. Now, with blockbuster season in full swing again, the developers agreed that the time was right for more enhancements to the app's appearance and functionality.
Anything After version 1.2 provides a bevy of improvements, including:
-- Users can more easily switch lists by swiping left and right or tapping
the list header.
-- A new media section for each movie includes links to trailers and
after-credits scenes when available.
-- The app info now contains up-to-the-minute stats on how many movies the
app supports and how many fans have placed votes.
-- Votes and comments section now loads much faster.
In addition, version 1.2 of the Anything After app boasts a faster search feature, overall user interface improvements and numerous bug fixes. Plus, moviegoers will also be able to plan their outings further in advance - the list of opening soon titles now extends 30 days out rather than 2 weeks.
Anything After has been featured on iTunes, CNET, Cult of Mac, AppAdvice, AppleNApps and Fandango, among others. The app has charted in the top 25 entertainment apps on iTunes in 14 countries. Media coverage contributed to a recent record sales day, during which nearly 36,000 new users downloaded the app. And of course, the larger the user base of Anything After - it's currently nearing 100,000 - the more useful it will be for moviegoers.
About Anything After
Anything After launched in late-January of 2013 with a goal of improving the movie-going experience. As a moviegoer himself, Founder, Damien Dalli, had a simple question while at the theater - "Is there anything after the credits and if so, is it actually worth the wait?" This seeded the idea that grew into the Anything After app. For more information, visit: https://www.AnythingAfter.com.
