MyDigipack Launches Out of Beta, Offering Free Unlimited Storage For Photos, Videos Across All Platforms And Devices
Patented technology simplifies cross-platform access to multimedia content; offers contextual experience.
NEW YORK, June 26, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- TriPlay, Inc., the U.S./Israeli technology company dedicated to delivering the world's most connected personal cloud experience, today announced the launch out of beta of MyDigipack, the patented cloud-based storage app that backs up photos and videos from any device and makes them available across platforms.
"When the world's top selling tablet, mobile phone and computer are all made by different companies, advancing an open ecosystem with a seamless experience, no matter what device or platform you're on, is more important than ever. But currently, leading manufacturers and software companies lock users into their own specific devices and platforms," said CEO Tamir Koch. "At launch, we're focused on making MyDigipack available on more devices than any other personal cloud app in the world. It's our mission to support more and more smart devices and platforms as they come - from phones and tablets to smartwatches and cars."
Starting today, MyDigipack users can upload photos and videos from any smartphone, tablet, computer, smartwatch and feature phone, and sync them across platforms and devices, with support for smart televisions coming soon. (Users will be able to instantly view photos and videos taken from their phone on their smart TV.) MyDigipack works with any operating system - Android, iOS, Windows Phone, BlackBerry - and any file format, screen resolution, network and geography.
To enhance and simplify the user experience, MyDigipack offers all users unlimited storage for free, including access up to 1,000 items, connecting up to 5 devices and a size limit of 100MB per uploaded video. For an annual fee of $49.99, the Unlimited plan offers unlimited storage and access, connecting up to 10 devices and a size limit of 500MB per uploaded video. MyDigipack also includes offline access, automatic importing and syncing, filtering by device and easy sharing on any social media.
Today's news closely follows the launch of TriPlay's MyMusicCloud app on Samsung Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo smartwatches.
