Lalaloopsy(TM), #1 Collector Brand For Girls, Spawns New Content Deals















VAN NUYS, Calif., June 5, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- MGA Entertainment, the world's largest private toy company, today announced several agreements that highlight the growth of its Lalaloopsy(TM) franchise.

The company has just signed a two-year deal with Viacom to air the first two seasons of the Lalaloopsy television program internationally on its Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. networks. The 52 episodes will air in territories including Germany, Russia, Benelux, Greece, Turkey, Norway, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, South Africa and Pan Asia (Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Thailand, Taiwan, Palau, Brunei, Macau, Mongolia, South Pacific Islands, Papua New Guinea, Cambodia, Myanmar and US Military Bases).

The Nick Jr. program, which was recently nominated for a daytime Emmy for Outstanding Achievement in Main Title and Graphic Design, will kick off its second season on June 7 on Nick Jr. in the United States.

Viacom has also granted Lalaloopsy Babies, a brand extension of the popular doll line featuring a soft body, its own TV special. The Lalaloopsy Babies one-hour special will air on Nick Jr. and be available on DVD this October.

MGA Entertainment will be revealing its most innovative Lalaloopsy brand extension to date at the 2014 Licensing Expo June 17 in Las Vegas.
