Fashion Meets Music Festival Announces Bands and Designers

COLUMBUS, Ohio, March 31, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Fashion Meets Music Festival (FMMF) announces the addition of 40 bands and seven designers & fashion brands to its lineup, and these initial acts will make up the free portion of the festival. See the list at www.fmmf.us/lineup/music.

The announcement event at Three Legged Mare in Arena District on March 27(th) revealed to hundreds of attendees that the 40 new bands will play free shows at the Outdoor Stages, and the seven new designers and fashion brands are both international and local to central Ohio.

"We had a wonderful turn-out last night - it was a great event to help build excitement and momentum for the festival. People are really starting to realize what an enormous event this is going to be," said Melissa Dickson, FMMF Communications Director. "We've known the magnitude of the event for a long time, since we're behind the scenes putting it together - but it's exciting to watch the amazement set in as people realize what a huge event is coming to their town."

FMMF 2014, which takes place Labor Day weekend, August 29th - 31st, is just getting started with these announcements and says to expect much more to come with national musicians and designers joining the lineup soon.
