Penthouse Magazine Celebrates Porn in Film in its Dirty Dozen Movie Awards

NEW YORK, Feb. 19, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Penthouse Magazine has named its 8(th) Annual 'Dirty Dozen' a/k/a Double D - Awards this year, giving "props" to the mainstream films in 2013 that put the heat in our pants... and a blast to those that left us cold.

The venerable and iconic magazine has always championed cinematic carnal efforts, but with so many movies - from small independents to blockbusters - pushing the sexual envelope, Penthouse created the Double D Awards to celebrate the best - and worst - in film.

"Penthouse and Bob Guccione were portraying real truth on the screen in 1981 with the groundbreaking movie Caligula," said Penthouse Managing Director, Kelly Holland. Other cinematic winners included Sharknado, Best Porn-Within-a-Movie Don Jon and Best Sequel Fast & Furious 6, while The Rock's Pain & Gain, Movie 43 and A Good Day to Die Hard crashed and burned.
