BOCA RATON, Fla., Oct. 17, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- With major growth plans underway in the Northeast, iPic Entertainment continues its remarkable expansion in Fort Lee, N.J., recently signing a lease to build an eight-screen, 533-seat luxury movie theater and award-winning Tanzy dining concept in Tucker Development Corporation's upcoming retail destination, Hudson Lights.

iPic Theaters will bring its revolutionary cinema escape to Hudson Lights in Fort Lee, expected to open Summer 2015. This new, affluent mixed-use project is conveniently located at the crossroads of New Jersey and New York, situated near the entrance to the heavily traveled George Washington Bridge. Priding itself on delivering an "affordable superior experience" in the cinema marketplace, iPic will add to the offerings of the mixed-use development while serving as a destination unto itself.

The new iPic Theaters at Hudson Lights will enable guests to enjoy their movie in ultimate comfort and style with reclining chairs, pillows and blankets. At the push of a button, guests can summon personal servers to deliver signature dishes or hand-crafted cocktails from iPic's in-theater dining concept, Tanzy Express.

Hudson Lights will also feature the award-winning Tanzy restaurant, an independent restaurant and bar destination situated adjacent to the entrance of iPic Theaters, presenting artisanal Italian cuisine in contemporary style for an unexpected dining adventure, day or night. Ground was broken yesterday on the first phase of Hudson Lights, comprising approximately 143,000 square feet of retail space, 276 luxury apartments, and 864 parking stalls. The fully entitled second phase of Hudson Lights is approved to include an additional 201 residential units, approximately 50,000 square feet of retail space and parking, as well as a 175-room hotel. The zoning also affords the development the option for an office building of up to 430,000 square feet. Once completed, Hudson Lights will total approximately one million square feet of commercial and residential space.
