LONDON, Oct. 30, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- IMAX Corporation (NYSE: IMAX; TSX: IMX) and Showcase Cinemas today announced an agreement for an IMAX® theatre to be installed at the Bluewater Shopping Centre in Kent, England.

The deal is a first for Showcase and signals a commitment to enhance the customer experience at this iconic out-of-town shopping complex. Part of National Amusements, Inc., Showcase operates theatres at 20 UK locations, including three Cinema de Lux venues. National Amusements, Inc. operates more than 850 screens globally and has been an IMAX partner since 2001, with a total of five IMAX theatres in the US, Brazil and Argentina.
