R&B Group The Intruders Celebrates Stroke Awareness and Survivorship


What: Aria Health, Capital Health, and the
American Heart Association (AHA) have
partnered to raise stroke education
and awareness in various communities
across the region. A unique
community-based awareness event
featuring the talents of R&B Group The
Intruders will provide over 300
community members with patient
testimonials, physician-led stroke
education, and stroke risk assessment
screenings.

Background: Aria Health and Capital Health have
partnered to provide treatment for
stroke and other neurological
disorders to patients across Northeast
Philadelphia and Bucks County. As
part of this affiliation, and in
collaboration with the American Heart
Association (AHA), Aria and Capital
have made a commitment to community-
based stroke education in the
Philadelphia region. The stroke
awareness concert combines unique
entertainment, physician-led stroke
education, and screenings to help
reduce the incidence of stroke.


Pennsylvania Congressman Mike
Fitzpatrick will be in attendance to
support the planned stroke education
efforts in the Bucks County community.
