South India's Premier Electronic Dance Music Festival GO:MADras Hosts its 5th Edition

GO:MADras, India's premiere Electronic Dance Music festival, will be held on September
21 and 22, 2013 in Chennai. The venue for the much anticipated annual event is premiere
5-star resort Radisson Temple Bay, on the pictureque East Coast of Chennai.

One of the most anticipated odes to the genre of EDM, GO:MADras is a two-day homage to
club music celebrating not just the contemporary styles of house, techno, and trance, but
also the artistes who have taken this form of music to a global platform.



The line up for the 5th edition is bigger and better with pioneering technology,
redefining music and prominent global acts.



The festival is proud to bring for the first time:



Darren Emerson who plays at Pacha, Ibiza, a pioneer of House music. In addition to
playing at top clubs across the world, Darren also turned music producer with his label
Underwater records. He has garnered several accolades such as 'DJ of the Month' in The
Face magazine and i-D magazine among others.



Sam Paganini is a legend in his own right with the 1999 instrumental composition 'Zoe'
under the nickname 'PAGANINI TRAXX'. The classic Techno-Progressive hit track was
championed by the likes of Sasha, John Digweed, Paul Oakenfold and released all over
Europe by Sony Music.



DJ Pearl's commitment to EDM led her to be one of the co-founders of Submerge'(
www.submerge.in [http://www.submerge.in ]) along with Hermit Sethi who host the biggest
beach festival on Goa's famed beaches. Pearl's power packed acts have won her the title of
the best house DJ in 2009, by MYFavDj. Nikhil needs no introduction. The DJ/VJ/Music
producer and Festival Director is best known for his upbeat dance music.



GO:MADras regulars includes a power-packed line-up of top India deejays who have
supported the festival since its inception:



Ash Roy's style moves through genres of tech-house to techno and his individual tracks
have been supported by Kasey Taylor, Maetrik, Ambivalent among others. As part of Jalebee
Cartel, this producer and DJ has shared headliner space with the likes of The Chemical
Brothers, Prodigy, Modeselektor and Carl Cox.



Calm Chor is the alter ego of Ashvin Mani Sharma (Co founder of Jalebee Cartel and
Producer of Crash and Boom with Ash Roy) who has been part of the Indian Underground music
scene since 1995 delivering power packed performances from Paradiso in Amsterdam to Blue
Frog in Mumbai.



Arjun Vagale is one of India's most coveted DJs, part of an exclusive new breed of
cutting edge producers making a massive globe impact. From playing with legends like Judge
Jules and Brandon Block to Blue Amazon and DJ Quicksilver, Arjun is on the forefront of
the electronic music movement in India. He is one of the only DJs from India to have been
featured on Proton Radio, Pulse Radio, Frisky Radio, Ministry of Sound Radio and BBC
radio.



Boombay Central is the moniker of Mumbai based DJ/ Music Producer Tarun Shahani with
composer and producer Vinayak Manohar. Boombay Central have been Featured In MTV
Soundtrippin', a Reality show on MTV co-producing The Songs of three episodes with Sneha
Khanvelkar.

Conceptualized in 2009, GO:MADras was the vision of three like-minded friends - Shiv
Gupta, Tuhin Mehta and Hema Sethuraman. The dynamic trio recognized the growing popularity

About the Founders



Shiv Gupta co-founder of GO:MADras and founder Label Rudraksh records. Shiv has been
