Harveys Offers Customers Chance to Meet Country Music Superstar Luke Bryan During "Farm Tour 2013" in October

NASHVILLE, Ga., Sept. 20, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Harveys is offering its customers a chance to meet 2013 Academy of Country Music® Entertainer of the Year Luke Bryan during his fifth annual "Farm Tour" concert series in October.

Customers can enter the contest to meet Luke Bryan and win VIP "Meet & Greet" tickets to the "Farm Tour"by visiting their local Harveys store or by entering the contest on Harveys Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/Harveys). The event is scheduled to be held in eight select locations in Luke Bryan's home state of Georgia and other cities in South Carolina, Alabama and Florida.

"We are pleased to offer this exciting opportunity to our shoppers, while also supporting the 'Farm Tour' which provides college scholarships for local students," said Lisa Overman, manager of marketing and advertising for Harveys. "Supporting local schools is at the heart of what we do at Harveys, so the 'Farm Tour' is a natural fit for us."

The idea for the "Farm Tour" concerts came from Luke Bryan as a way to give back to local farming communities by celebrating and lifting up the American farmer and offering a fun escape with the outdoor shows. Proceeds from the concerts fund the "Luke Bryan Farm Tour Scholarship." Eight scholarships were given to students from a farming family attending college within the communities the tour played last year.

-- October 12 Valdosta Wake Compound, 2316 Clyattville Road, Valdosta,
Ga.
