The 89th annual East-West Shrine Game® kicks off Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 4 p.m. EST to benefit Shriners Hospitals for Children®, in support of their mission to provide expert care to children in need, conduct innovative research and offer educational opportunities to medical professionals. A staple in college football since 1925, the game has consistently proven to be a launch pad for players seeking professional careers in the NFL. More than 100 players from the 88th East-West Shrine Game signed with professional teams in 2013. Many of the NFL's most recognized and decorated athletes, including Tom Brady, John Elway, and Brett Favre, all started on the East-West gridiron.

Play-by-Play Sports Properties, LLC (www.playbyplaysportsproperties.com) will produce the East-West Shrine Game Radio Network for the third year in a row with Clear Channel's Tampa Bay Sports Radio 620 WDAE as the Tampa Bay "flagship station." Listeners can tune in to a special East-West Shrine Game radio channel available on over 500 million smartphones worldwide from the "TuneIn" app and stream the game live via shrinegame.com (http://www.shrinegame.com/).

Veteran Play-by-Play radio voice, Patrick Kinas and analyst Brian Jordan will lead the broadcast team again in the East-West Shrine Game radio booth along with Rick Berkey, reporting in from the sidelines. Frequently featured in the college football TV-radio booth, Kinas has provided extensive commentary for East Carolina University, North Carolina State University, MASN, CBS College Sports and ESPN3 and also serves as the voice of the Tampa Bay Rays AAA affiliate - the Durham Bulls. Jordan possesses experience in both the NFL and Major League Baseball in Atlanta where he served as the Braves pregame TV analyst.
