BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., July 30, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Beverly Hills-based law firm, Hertz Lichtenstein & Young LLP, announced today that Jamie Young and Eric Galen have joined as partners. Young brings more than 25 years of music and entertainment law expertise to the firm where she will continue to focus on representing an extensive list of music talent clients including Celine Dion, Perry Farrell (also a co-owner of the Lollapalooza music festival), Chris Isaak, Demi Lovato, Tom Morello, Stevie Nicks, and DJ Shadow. Galen brings with him top companies in the digital media, mobile and technology sectors, having spent the past several years working with Fullscreen, TopFloor, Viddy, Patrick Vlaskovits, Tradesy, Wittlebee, Citrusbyte, Survly, Slate Studio, Column Five Media, Wiredrive and others.
In recognition of the addition of Jamie Young as a Partner, the firm's name has been changed to Hertz Lichtenstein & Young. With the addition of Young and Galen, Hertz Lichtenstein & Young LLPnow has 11 attorneys.

Prior to entering Hertz Lichtenstein & Young LLP, Young was an entertainment attorney and partner at Ziffren Brittenham Branca LLP. Admitted to practice law in New York and California, Young earned her J.D. from the New York University School of Law. She received her B.A., phi beta kappa, summa cum laude from Washington University in St. Louis.

Having worked as an entertainment and technology lawyer at top national law firms, Galen has extensive experience advising Fortune 500 companies, growing companies and expanding brands. He previously practiced law at Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP, and Manatt Phelps Phillips LLP. Galen earned his J.D. from the University of Southern California Law School and his B.A. cum laude from the University of California Los Angeles.
