WDIV-TV Local 4 News Honored With MAB Awards For Best Newscast, Weather Coverage, and Community Involvement

DETROIT, March 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- WDIV-TV Local 4 is proud to be honored for broadcasting excellence in the categories of Newscast, Weathercast and Community Involvement by the Michigan Association of Broadcasters (MAB).

Local 4 News won the MAB Market 1 awards, for Best Newscast for Local 4 News at 5's day of triple team coverage when 19 year old Tucker Cipriano allegedly murdered his father in Farmington Hills. Local 4 Director of Meteorology, Chuck Gaidica took top honors for his Weather Storm Watch coverage.
