The transaction was closed on March 1st in Washington DC, and entitles Media Vista Group to start operating the stations, immediately. Media Vista Group announced this planned acquisition on December 26th, 2012 - that it had agreed to purchase certain assets (including the FCC licenses issued by the Federal Communications Commission) used or useful in broadcast television stations WUVF-LP, Naples, Florida, WLZE-LD, Fort Myers, Florida, KUKC-LP, Kansas City, Missouri, and WUMN-LP, Minneapolis, Minnesota, each affiliated with Univision television network, from SP Television, LLC.

Its operations include production of high quality local content with its brand D'Latinos al Dia, started in 2002, publishers of D'Latinos Magazine, first published in 2003, now a recognized Spanish-language lifestyle monthly color publication, and www.dlatinos.tv, a Spanish interactive portal also started in 2003. As part of its broadcasting strategy, MVG acquired WANA 16, affiliated with the Azteca America Network, in Fort Myers-Naples market, in 2010. MVG is a privately owned company, since 2002.
