Emerging Communications Industry Executives Of Color To Be Honored During The NAMIC Annual Awards Breakfast Scheduled For June 12th in Washington, DC
NEW YORK, March 13, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The National Association for Multi-ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC) has announced its call for nominations for the 2013 Next Generation Leaders Awards. Honoring emerging executives for their professional achievements, as well as their efforts in fostering multi-ethnic diversity and inclusion, the Next Generation Leaders Awards will be presented during the NAMIC Annual Awards Breakfast. Held as part of Cable Connection - Spring, the NAMIC Annual Awards Breakfast is scheduled for Wednesday, June 12, 2013, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the Grand Hyatt Washington in Washington, DC.

Presented in partnership with Multichannel News, the Next Generation Leaders Awards recognize executives of color, who reflect and embrace NAMIC's mission to educate, advocate and empower to achieve multi-ethnic diversity in the communications industry. Business leaders age 45 and under are eligible for nomination. Awards are presented in four categories: Cable MSO, Cable Programmer, Technology Company or Discipline and Creative Discipline. The nominations deadline is April 5, 2013.
