"We strive to provide the best overall experience for travelers at Boise Airport," said Rebecca Hupp, Boise Airport Director. "Digiboo's kiosks help us expand our shopping and entertainment offerings and bring more enjoyment to airport guests."
Digiboo is a convenient choice for people to watch new and classic movies and television shows, whenever and wherever they want. Movie fans can choose from more than 800 movies, including new releases such as "Looper," "Hope Springs," "Trouble with the Curve," "The Amazing Spiderman" and "Searching for Sugar Man," as well as popular catalog titles. TV lovers can enjoy their favorite episodes of "Fringe," "Revolution," "Big Bang Theory," "Weeds" and "Mad Men," among others.
These movies and TV programs can be downloaded in as little as 30 seconds to your thumb drive, or just minutes directly to your device via Wi-Fi and played back on any iPhone®, iPad®, iPad mini® or iPod touch® or any Android or Windows-enabled PC, laptop, tablet or phone. Anyone, from business travelers waiting for flights to families on vacation, can enjoy Digiboo, and since the service is digital-only, with no physical discs, new releases are always in stock, and there is never anything to return.
"Digiboo's mission is to deliver the simplest, easiest and most convenient way for movie-lovers to get the entertainment they love while on-the-go," said Richard Cohen, Digiboo CEO. "We chose to launch our product at BOI because Boise has a large population of early-adopters, movie enthusiasts and business travelers. Our local partners, at BOI and FSH, have been quite enthusiastic and have helped us to move toward success as we debut here."
"FSH is proud to partner with Digiboo to offer Boise travelers access to the latest entertainment titles," said Mike Tatom, FSH EVP, Business Development and Strategy. "With Digiboo, people can download entertaining movies and TV shows to enjoy in the airport, on the plane or when they arrive at their destination."
Entertainment from Digiboo is competitively priced. Movie rentals are $3.99 (new) or $2.99 (catalog) and can be viewed within 30 days of download up to 48 hours after the movie is opened. Purchased movies cost $14.99. TV shows can be purchased for $1.99 each. New releases are largely available day-and-date with DVD and Video on Demand, which helps ensure that customers have access to the newest movies as early as possible.
New movies and shows are added to the kiosk every week as titles become available. Catalog titles have been hand-selected to provide something for everyone across genres. Rentals can be viewed on one device at a time, while customers who purchase movies can watch them on up to five devices. The company has partnered with several studios, including Lions Gate, Paramount, Sony, Anchor Bay Entertainment and Warner Bros., as well as FSH, Smarte Carte, PTS and Gateway Newstands, to provide the highest quality service to travelers.
Digiboo was founded in 2008 by film industry veterans Richard Cohen, former MGM Home Entertainment and Consumer Products president, Jeff Karbowiak, EVP of MGM's Home Entertainment Group, David Beddow CTO at Movielink, and Blake Thomas GM of MGM Home Entertainment.
