DDB Dubai and TNA/DDB Egypt Make their Mark at the MENA Cristal Awards 2013
PARIS, Feb. 26, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- DDB Worldwide (ddb.com) announced today that the agency has been awarded a series of prestigious medals at the eighth edition of the MENA Cristal Awards in Mzaar, Lebanon, held from February 5 to 7, 2013.
DDB Dubai picked up their first Grand Prix (Grand Cristal) and a Gold (Cristal) in the Radio category for their work for Al Ghandi Electronics (Whirlpool, Explore the Silence). In the same category, DDB Dubai also received a Bronze (Emerald) for Wrigley's "Spare Your Mouth the Ordeal" campaign.
In the Press category, DDB Dubai received a Gold (Cristal) for Henkel's "Keep the Color" campaign, created in collaboration with Tribal DDB Dusseldorf. The campaign was also recognized in the In-store Posters and Displays and Outdoor categories and received two additional Silver awards (Sapphire). DDB Dubai was also recognized in the Print Craft category with Henkel's "Stain Communities" campaign for which it won a Bronze Cristal (Emerald).

TNA/DDB Egypt also won three awards at the MENA Cristal Awards ceremony: one Gold (Cristal) in the Film category for their work for National Bank of Egypt ("You Don't Belong Here" campaign), as well as a Bronze (Emerald) in the Film category for their work for Eva Pharma ("Golden Pack"), which also won one Silver (Cristal) in the new category of Arabic Culture.
